Professor Theo Marinis (Co-investigator at University of Reading) gave a keynote speech Multilingual Education in India: Effects of Language of Instruction on the development of Literacy and Mathematical Skills at the 14th Generative Approaches to Language Acquisition conference (GALA 14) on 12th September 2019. The Conference was hosted by the University of Milano-Bicocca. His presentation focused on effects of medium of instruction on slum and non-slum children.
